BOC provides information about the influence from, and on, the surrounding environment (wind, waves, currents, tides, sediment) on port facilities.

Port of Bilbao For exposed ports we provide historic information to get give insight in the wave conditions in and around the harbour. For the operators we provide forecast information to support safe navigation for ships arriving at, and departing from the harbour. Specific forecasts are generated for the entrance to a harbour or along a shipping channel.
To get an understanding of the dredging that is required, or the impact of dredging on the surroundings, we carry out dredging and sedimentation studies.

LNG Terminal For engineering companies involved in (pre)feasibility and design studies of new terminals or expansion of existing port facilities, we provide full environmental studies, operability analyses as well as input data for detailed coastal / harbour models.
